GECU TransMountain Challenge Half Marathon, Half Marathon Relay and 5K  to benefit the Paso Del Norte Children's Development Center

• Race Day:  Sunday, October 10, 2010
• Race start time: 7 a.m. for the Half Marathon and Relay
  5K start time is 7:15 a.m.
• Technical T-shirts to the first 1000 registrants
• Free pair of Brooks Running socks to first 1000 registrants
• Trophies to the top three male and female finishers in the 1/2 Marathon and 5K competitive runs.
• Trophies to the top male and female in each age category fo the 1/2 Marathon competitive run.
• Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age category of the 5K competitive run.
• Relay Teams: Medals will be awarded to each member of the top three relay teams in each relay category.
• Age Categories for the 1/2 Marathon and 5K competitive runs: 10 and under, 11 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 69, 70 and over
  
• Refreshments at finish line

The Half Marathon run and Half Marathon Relay start on the west side of the Franklin Mountains starting at an elevation of approximatley 3900 ft. before climbing to just over 5200 ft. then dropping down to 3900 ft. at the finish line at the corner of U.S. 54 and Diana. This challenging course has been an El Paso tradition for over 30 years.
The 5K race starts and finishes at the 'Old Glory' Memorial flag located at the corner of Diana and U.S. 54

Ride to top of Trans and back 12.5 mi.                 Ride over Trans and back 23.5 mi.

Cost - $25.00 includes t-shirt, post race food and festivities.
Both rides start and finish at the 'Old Glory' Memorial flag located at U.S. 54 and Diana.
Packet pick up is Saturday, October 9th, 9am to 6pm.  NO RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP.
